Where a program stops

When you get stuck, you don't have to figure it out alone

You’ve already invested in a Dr. Whitten program. You have the roadmap, the education, and the strategies.

But even the best online program can’t anticipate every challenge you may encounter along the way.

Maybe an exercise isn’t going the way you expected. Maybe you’re unsure where to focus. Maybe you have questions that can’t be answered in a prerecorded video.

Or maybe you’re making progress and want experienced guidance to help you get even more from the work you’re already doing.

With one-on-one coaching, a PainFix Protocol Specialist can help you:

What coaching actually is

Get help where you need it most

The goal is simple: help you keep moving forward and get as much as possible from the program you’ve already invested in.

Your coaching isn’t another course.

There are no more modules to complete or hours of additional information to consume. This is one-on-one, personalized guidance focused entirely on you—your questions, your challenges, and the places where you’re getting stuck.

Instead of trying to apply general information to your situation on your own, you’ll have an exceptionally experienced professional helping you work through what’s getting in the way and determine your best path forward.

Less guessing. More clarity. Guidance that’s personal to you.

Janae Samuelson, MSPT, LMT

Decades of experience, focused on helping you succeed.

Janae brings more than two decades of professional experience in physical therapy, anatomy, movement, exercise, and hands-on bodywork to every coaching session.

She has also completed extensive advanced training in sports medicine, corrective exercise, functional movement, and whole-body fascial connections, giving her an unusually broad foundation for helping people work through the challenges that can arise when putting an exercise program into practice.

That breadth of experience matters when the answer isn’t obvious. When you encounter an obstacle, Janae can draw on decades of education and real-world experience to help you recognize what you may be missing and find a practical way forward.

Common questions

What’s the difference between coaching and physical therapy?

One-on-one coaching is designed to help you get more from your Dr. Whitten program through personalized guidance along the way.

You’ll have an experienced professional to help you work through questions, identify obstacles, better understand how to apply what you’re learning, and determine where to focus your efforts based on your individual situation.

It’s dedicated one-on-one support focused on you, your challenges, and your progress—something a prerecorded program simply can’t provide.

Coaching is educational and does not include medical diagnosis, treatment, or physical therapy.

How do the sessions take place?

Each 60-minute private coaching session takes place one-on-one via Zoom, so you can participate from the comfort of your own home.

You’ll need an internet connection and a device with a camera, microphone, and speakers—such as a laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Most modern devices already have everything you need built in.

Do I have to own a Dr. Whitten program first?

Yes. One-on-one coaching is designed to build on the education, exercises, and strategies inside your Dr. Whitten program.

Your program gives you the foundation and roadmap. Coaching adds personalized guidance to help you apply what you’re learning, work through challenges, and get the most from the program.

For that reason, you’ll need to own the Dr. Whitten program you’d like coaching support with before booking your first session.

How long do I have to use my sessions?

All coaching sessions must be used within 6 months of purchase.

Coaching is most valuable when it’s used consistently. Regular sessions give you time to apply what you’re learning, see how your body responds, work through challenges as they arise, and build on your progress from one session to the next.

The more consistently you put what you’re learning into practice, the better your opportunity to learn, progress, and get the most from your coaching.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice, and we’ll be happy to help you find another time.

Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged as a completed session (or deducted from your coaching package).

This policy allows us to reserve your scheduled time exclusively for you while keeping appointment times available for all of our coaching members.

What's your refund policy?

If you purchase a coaching package and decide not to continue, you may request a refund for the unused portion of your package within 6 months of purchase.

Because package pricing is discounted based on your commitment to multiple sessions, any sessions you have already used will be recalculated at the regular $315 single-session rate. That amount will be deducted from your original purchase price, and the remaining balance will be refunded to you.

For example: If you purchase 8 sessions for $1,598 and use 2 sessions, those 2 sessions will be calculated at the regular rate of $315 each ($630). You would receive a refund of $968.

Sessions that have already been completed, missed appointments, and sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice are not refundable.

What should I bring to my first session?

Come prepared with the questions, challenges, or areas where you’d most like guidance. The more specific you can be about where you’re struggling or what you’d like to accomplish, the more you can get from your time together.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, and have enough open space around you to safely perform movements or exercises.

Set up your camera so your coach can clearly see you move. Ideally, position your laptop, tablet, or phone where you can step back and show your full body when needed, while still being able to see and hear your coach’s instructions.

Have your Dr. Whitten program available for reference, and come ready to participate, ask questions, and put what you learn into practice.

Get the guidance you need to keep moving forward

You already have the roadmap. Now add someone you can turn to when you have questions, hit an obstacle, or need help figuring out your next step.

One-on-one coaching is an optional educational service designed to provide personalized support with the implementation of your Dr. Whitten program. Coaching does not constitute medical care, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, chiropractic care, rehabilitation, or telehealth.
